Easy recipe for chow mein, hope it is useful. It is a good way to use up some vegatables. I use some celeries , onions and carrots, but you can use whatever vegatable you like. As about meat, you can use pork, beef or some salami sausages, or without any meat if you are vegatarian. you can put some prawns, but normally we don’t put fish in chow mein. Add some olive oil in the pan and heat for one minute, throw in the chopped meat and vegatables and stir fry them for 7 or 8 minutes. At the same time, put the noodle in boiling water for 2 minutes and drain it. Now mix the noodle with the stir fried meat and vegatables, add some light soy sauce, pepper and salt. Stir thoroughly and let it sit for 2 minutes before serve.
